I am Chris Bell, 33-year-old homegrown Texan. I powerlifted in high school at the 132lb weight class. Recently, I got back into the sport of Powerlifting late 2016 and competed in my first meet in 15 years at USPA Bend The Bar San Antonio Texas, where I took home a 3rd place finish in the 181lb Classic Raw Open division (1st place Police/Military/Fire division) with lifts of 485lb squat, 308lb Bench, 529lb Deadlift.
I have since competed and held the USPA records in the Texas Police/Military/Fire division for 181lb and 198lb Class as well as drug tested records.

I am a police officer with the Austin Police Department since November 2012 and am currently assigned to the downtown Austin area command on patrol. I graduated with an Aerospace Engineering degree from The University of Texas - Austin in 2009 where I played on the UT Rugby team. I currently play for the Central Texas Wolf Pack (2016 Division 2 National Champions), a semi-pro full contact football team. We compete in the National Public Safety Football League (NPSFL) and compete nationally against other first responders to raise money for charity.
My goal is to get stronger every day and help spread the love for the sport of Powerlifting to my blue line brothers. Stay safe out there!
