Charlie Ritchie is a former law enforcement officer that began weightlifting in February of 2013. 3 months later she was talked into deadlifting in a powerlifting meet and won. She hasn’t stopped since.
Charlie trains at Kabuki Strength Lab in Clackamas, Oregon which is owned by Rudy Kadlub and Chris Duffin. She is an elite level Masters, drug tested powerlifter that is currently competing in the 75 kilo class.
Charlie currently holds 13+ World Records, 15+ National Records and numerous State Records in WPC/AWPC, APA, USPA, WABDL and APF Powerlifting Federations. Her meet PRs include 292lb squat, 192lb bench press and 374lb deadlift.
In 2018 she will be competing at the USPA Drug-Tested Nationals in West Virginia in June, WPC’s World Cup in Idaho in September and IPL/USPA’s Drug Tested Worlds in Las Vegas in November.
When she’s not lifting (which is not often), Charlie enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, traveling and hanging out with her dogs.
