Alan Booth is a Highland Heavy Games Athlete out of Central Minnesota. Booth has been competing in the open division of the heavy games since 2015. Booth alongside his wife, Alex, who began competing in 2017. Booth has also begun competing in strongman events.
Booth has been involved in strength training since high school. Following a knee injury that cut his career in the US Air Force short Booth returned to strength training while recovering and attending college for criminal justice.
Booth has served in law enforcement since 2010 serving in a variety of roles. Booth currently serves as a police officer. Along with his patrol duties, Booth is also a multiple discipline instructor for his agency along with other agencies and organizations.
Outside of strength events Booth competes in three gun and USPSA shooting competitions and spending time with his wife and daughter.
